The P5200A uses a standard BNC interface and is compatible with the TBS2102B. However you will have to manually set the attenuation on the scope. You can find information on how to adjust the channel parameters in the TBS2102B user manual.

The part number is 013-0362-00 we have stock the cost is about $15. Note that Part number 013-0362-xx Hook Tip has been replaced with Part number 013036201. The 013036201 was improved to reduce fall out in MFG.

Please try to reinstall the firmware using the installation instructions found with the firmware. Also add an empty file titled "forceinstall.txt" to the root folder this will force the scope to install the firmware. This is also useful should you need too downgrade or reload the scopes firmware in the future.

The procedure requires a digital probe calibrator which puts the same signal on all inputs at the same time. The procedure is an automated procedure in the unit and you must start at the start and go all the way through to the end with no errors or failures, Which could be many many hours.
Double check different probe?
If the Digital input needs to be calibrated you can send the unit into our factory for calibration.

We do not have a DC current probe that meets your 600A requirement. The closest we offer would be the TCP404XL. The TCP404XL is rated for 500A continuous or 750A non-continuous. The main constraint at these current levels is heat, as you mentioned. If depending on ambient temperature or length of your test, this probe might work OK for you at 600A. As you can see from PDF p. 77, at an ambient temperature of 23 degrees C you can measure 600A continuously. However, there's some restrictions and warnings in this section (starting on p. 77) that I would recommend you cover thoroughly to make sure this will work for your test conditions. 600A continuous can be done but is right near the limit for this probe. Tektronix scopes do not specify an MSU (Measurement System Uncertainty) specification, but we do offer an ISO Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM) with our Cal Certs. The coverage factor (k) is 2, with coverage probability of approximately 95 %. Uncertainty values are reported with the same units as the measured values. Statements of conformity to specifications account for uncertainty. Statements of conformity to specifications are made with less than 2% global false acceptance risk for each measurement result.

This information is specified directly from our Calibration certifications (Cal Cert). You should have received this calibration document when you first received the instrument.

1) The 016-2016-00 is intended for use by existing customers that have previously purchased and designed the -00 version into their circuit board. 2) The 016-2016-01 is a newer version that allows the user more flexibility when designing it into circuit board. The -01 is not a direct replacement for the -00 version.

The TBS2204B does not have isolated power. It is a grounded scope.
