  • RE: Save full-resolution image from MDO34 (3 Series) via network

    Tue, 29 Nov 2022 05:03:56 GMT – Save full-resolution image from MDO34 (3 Series) via network
    Thanks Afonso!

Sounds good, I did successfully get the TekScope Utility set up today and am satisfied with it so far. I'm just a little surprised that Tektronix doesn't have their own free solution with basic functionality for saving images or waveforms, and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious.

Do you know if there's a way to edit the config file for TekScope Utility to change the default Save location?  I tried a little bit but couldn't get it to work.

See attached images for comparison between the two scopes.  Both scopes are 4-channel and in a similar price range, so I would think I could do similar with the Tektronix scope.  Thanks

    Hello,

What is the easiest way to save the screen image of the MDO34 oscilloscope via network or web interface?  Anything computer-based that isn't moving a flash drive back and forth.

On our Teledyne Lecroy scopes we can just go to the scope's IP-address/instrumentscreen.html in a web browser to see the screen, right click and Save As to get the full res image.  Can I do that on the MDO34?

So far my only workaround is to go to the Instrument Control screen at the scope's IP address and taking a screenshot on my computer, but this results in a very blurry and stretched image.  Nothing like the 1920x1080p image I should be getting.
