I was wondering whether Tektronix provides a modern .wfm (WFM) file processing software that can convert the files into a more accessible file type, such as a CSV or ASCII? I have found a software by Tektronix online (ConvertTekWfm) from years ago, but it seems to produce different results every time I run it on my files.

Hi,

We have at least 3 different conversion programs, depending on the scope the file originated from: https://www.tek.com/en/support/faqs/can-i-convert-my-wfm-files-open-format-such-csv-comma-separated-values-file

There's also ArbExpress for AFGs, although calling it modern might be pushing it.

In general, if you wish to process the waveform data I would suggest choosing the .csv format when saving the waveform from the instrument.
