As title shows, I have a TDS3034B on the ethernet network, this used to work fine with escope. However, no the connection times out with every browser. I check the network configuration, it is good, and I can still print to my postscript network printer. I can ping the scope too. I ran nmap on the scope's IP address and it found two ports open, one on port 111 for rpc, one http on port 80.

But the connection times out... any idea what could be going on ? I also tried running escop on my local pc to connect to the scope, nothing. It's like the httpd on the scope is dead ? (of course I tried restarting, etc. to no avail.

Any suggestions ?

Hi Bruno,

I would suggest you try a few more things:
1) Make sure you are using http and not https (browsers often force https now a days);
2) Go into the "Save/Recall" menu and recall factory setup;
3) Go into "Utility", "I/O", "Ethernet Network Settings" and "Change Instrument Settings", make sure the instrument name and password are empty and that all the other fields are automatically populated as expected. Sharing a screenshot of this menu might be helpful;
4) Change networks and PC.
