VB.net and power readings

I don't seem to be able to find a current example of a vb.net project and the latest API that will work in VS2019.
Could any body help please?
I have some positioning equipment that is controlled from a vb.net application. I would like to get a suitable reading at each position from a RSA306B into the VB.net app for distribution plotting.

Hi David,

It appears you are trying to communicate with your RSA306B from Visual Basic. Have you considered using the SCPI interface that is made usable by SignalVu-PC instead of the RSA API which is much harder to use and unsupported?

Thanks for the heads up.
This seems to be the way to go. There seems to be a lot of information available for this interface from a plethora of manufacturers using VB.net.
