Hi Afonso,

Explaination of "data I have to write by console port":
The console port is the serial port on TDS7054 PPC board.
There was a first problem with the TDS7054: It wouldn't start because the NVRAM battery was dead.
I changed the NVRAM battery and used the console port to write to NVRAM the data lost due to the dead battery.
But since I m not sure of the data I wrote in the NVRAM, I was wondering if bad data could prevent the saving of the offset corrections made by SPC test.
Hi,

Yes I replaced the battery of NVRAM DS1245YP, it was easy because the package is not DIP32 but PWRCP. Do you know the exact data I have to write by console port?

Hello Afonso,

Are you sure?
I think it is not NVRAM, because on the TDS7054 when the NVRAM battery is empty, the boot data is lost and the TDS7000 freezes on the Tektronix boot screen. I changed the battery for this reason. Unless the data I wrote on NVRAM are not completly correct. Do you know the data I have to write by console port?
Hello,

When I switch on the TDS7054 there is an offset on several chanel, when I pass SPC offsets are compensated. But after switch off and on the offsets appear again. Is there any memory where SPC results are recorded as old TDS7XX?
